How to use your "Tell-Me-A-Story" Finger Puppets:

Print out a "Tell-Me-A-Story" Finger Puppet on heavy paper...or print

onto regular paper, then use a glue stick to adhere to heavier paper.

Have grown-up help cut-out along outer dashed

lines and finger holes (adjust holes to fit fingers).

Use finger puppets to help tell-a-story. (Save puppets in "Idea Box")

Pretend you are the character and talk about yourself.

Where do you live? Who are your friends? What do you

do for fun? Create an adventure you've been on!

You might Tell-a-story starting with, "One day...", "One night...",

"Once upon a time...", or "Let me tell you about the time..."

Tell-a-"what if" story (Ex. What if my dog started to talk???)

Tell-a-"I was granted 3 wishes" story.

Tell-a-story about an inanimate object (Ex. mailbox, table, ball,

etc.) who comes alive, and then what happens?

Write down your stories or have a grown-up

record them, as you tell them.

Save your ideas and stories in your "Idea Box",

until you're ready to create a "Book" or "Cartoon Strip".
